About us
IMUI is a 3D design lab founded by Santi and Carmen in 2024 in Barcelona. We specialize in designing and selling 3D-printed pieces made from biodegradable materials. Our mission is to bring to life creative ideas that combine technology and design, inspiring and adding color to our spaces.

Our method
At IMUI, we design each piece from initial concepts to detailed drafts and create 3D models. After various tests, we finalize the designs and print each piece on-demand to minimize excess stock and reduce our environmental footprint. Every lamp is individually 3D printed in our Barcelona studio, taking an average of 6-8 hours per piece. We operate on a made-to-order basis, ensuring each model is unique and shipped within 5-10 days.
Sustainability
At IMUI we prioritize sustainability. We use PLA, a bioplastic derived from organic sources like corn starch, for 3D printing our designs. This material is biodegradable and environmentally friendly, aligning with our commitment to functionality, creativity, and sustainability. By producing pieces only when ordered, we significantly reduce waste and minimize our environmental impact.
